Harte, founder of this agency, and I speak from years of real-world experience, deep care, and a commitment to raising the standard of domestic childcare placements.
My Story
For over six years I worked as a professional nanny, newborn care specialist, child sleep consultant, and postpartum doula. My career has taken me into homes during those first fragile weeks, through bustling toddler years, and into the school-aged seasons where consistency and stability matter. In each home, I saw a common thread: families who were desperately seeking a caregiver who felt like more than just help, that felt like a true, trusted partner.
I remember one family I served: the parents returned to work after maternity leave and struggled to find someone who could not only handle bottles and diaper changes but also understand their values around attachment, sleep, and developmental progression. They wanted someone proactive, kind, and aligned. After countless interviews and mismatches, they found a specialist…who wasn’t the right fit. I saw how the mismatch impacted their home rhythm and, ultimately, their peace of mind. It was then that I realized: the system needed to change.
